Toll-Free Helpline 1000: Direct Access Without Internet
Recognizing that many rural households and elderly citizens in Punjab do not have access to smartphones or internet services, the Punjab Government launched a dedicated toll-free helpline “1000” for call-based registrations.
Key Features of Helpline 1000
- Toll-Free Calls: You do not need call credits or balance on your mobile SIM or landline to reach the help desk.
- 24/7 Service: The call center operates day and night to log issues and record relief applications.
- Trained Call Agents: Professional agents will listen to your queries and manually register the application on the central database.
- SMS Tracking: Upon call completion, a tracking ID is automatically sent to your phone number via SMS.
What to Prepare Before You Call
To ensure the call agent can log your details quickly, please have the following information ready:
- Your 13-digit National Identity Card (CNIC) number.
- The exact address and district location where the issue occurred.
- A brief description of your request or complaint (e.g. sewage system breakdown, non-receipt of ration package, or school facility issues).
